Las Vegas is an excellent place to visit on a holiday weekend. It’s the ideal destination for the entire family. Typically a holiday weekend consist of 3 days off work and a whole lot of fun. Vegas is the perfect place for a quick mini-vacation. In honor of the extra day’s rest,  we will discuss the top 3 holiday weekends to visit Vegas.

1. Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day is an American federal holiday that is always celebrated on the first Monday of every September, honoring the everyday working man and woman. That’s where you come in to the picture. You work hard and are dedicated. You do the very best you can to support your family. Use that extra day and have some fun and relaxation in beautiful Las Vegas. Labor Day is the perfect holiday to visit Vegas. The weather is great and the casinos are waiting.

2. July 4th

Everyone knows July 4th is all about the fireworks. No matter where you are on the 4th you are very likely to see fireworks of some kind. Why not come to Las Vegas and see the most  incredible Firework shows in the country.  There are several places to watch firework shows including Caesars Palace or at Las Vegas’ Minor League Baseball team’s 51s’ game. If you haven’t been to Las Vegas on the 4th of July, make plans for next year and you won’t be disappointed.

3. Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day is an American federal holiday that is celebrated on the last Monday of May, honoring and remembering the men and women who died serving in the United States Military. This should be a day to remember and appreciate those who have given their lives to the well-being and safety of our country. These brave soldiers have made it possible for us to live free and enjoy life. Why not spend the weekend in Las Vegas to celebrate this freedom. Once again the weather is beautiful and there is something there for the whole family.

The next time you spot a holiday weekend approaching on the calendar, think of it as an opportunity; an opportunity that is ready to be seized. Get a babysitter or take the kids along and do something for yourself. Relax, eat, drink, and enjoy everything Las Vegas has to offer.  You’ll be glad you did.
