This stunning island is only a short trip from Auckland City or also from Devonport and is the perfect place to go on an overnight trip or for longer if you like. The area is rich in art, restaurants, cafes and trails and is a more than worthwhile visit.

The area of Devonport is a short ferry ride or a drive over to the North Shore. The area’s North Head Historical Reserve is fantastic and has some fantastic views of Auckland Harbour. It’s also got amazing fish and chips – so be sure to try them out.
